Horses
Over the years I have been fortunate enough to paint and draw some well-known Thoroughbreds and show horses, in Africa and Australia. On sailing to South Africa my work was shown at the Festival of Racing Art Exhibition with other renowned equine artists.
Commissions are welcome. Where possible I prefer to meet the subject in person prior to doing the portrait. However I can and do, occasionally get requests for portraits where the only reference available are photographs. This is perfectly acceptable.
